Sales & Project Support Specialist

Geiger Pump & Equipment is seeking a Sales and Project Support Specialist to work in our York, Pennsylvania office.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Sales & Project Support Specialist to support our products from quotation and order entry through delivery, service, and start-up. This position combines customer-facing sales duties, project coordination, shop and warehouse support, and field service responsibilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Champion Geiger’s core values of Continuous Improvement, Customer focus, and Teamwork
- Prepare quotations and valve take-offs, and specification-based selections.
- Process customer orders accurately using vendor portals and company ERP system (SAGE 300)
- Assist with valve assembly, maintenance, staging, and equipment preparation.
- Support shipping and receiving operations, warehouse organization, inventory, and facility maintenance.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimize workplace hazards
- Conduct site visits, service calls, and project start-ups.
- Provide inside sales support to customers
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Associate Degree or better in a related field, three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification.
· A customer-service focused individual that successfully responds to technical and non-technical customer and employee inquiries.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on shop and field work.
· Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements.
· Ability to work with various computer programs including company’s ERP software.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
· Valid driver’s license
